On-Screen Keyboard
What do you do if you don’t have an instrument at home?? Never fear! In a pinch, you can use an on-screen keyboard.
In fact, I include sheet music for On-Screen Piano with each lesson, (it’s combined with the xylophone music)!
There are a few different options you can use, beginning with Virtual Piano which runs from a web page. There’s also one like it from Music and the Brain which can be played by touching the screen or by clicking your mouse or by playing keys on your computer keyboard.
Aside from that, on an Android tablet or iPad, you can get an app that will do the job for you. The main thing is to get one that will display the letter names of the notes for you. Below are some suggestions.
